About Abdelilah Ommane
I'm a backend software developer based in Casablanca, Morocco. I design and build the server-side systems that power modern applications: REST APIs, relational data models, authentication, and the Docker/Kubernetes pipelines that ship them to production.
Background
I trained at 1337 (Future Is Loading), Morocco's peer-to-peer coding school, and currently work as a backend engineer at Aaag International. My day-to-day stack is NestJS and Node.js for services, Python for scripting and AI, and PostgreSQL for data.
Beyond classic backend
I also build AI/LLM applications — including agentic RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems that connect large language models to private knowledge. I post about Kubernetes, ArgoCD, GitLab CI, and practical backend engineering.
